Outdoor Enthusiast Gift Guide

App Subscriptions: there are quite a few apps that adventurers love. Subscriptions to these apps can be a great gift because they are thoughtful towards the person’s interests, and you might be introducing them to something new that will add to their enjoyment of their outdoorsy hobbies! Here are a few of my favorites:

  • All Trails: the upgraded pro version of this app is extremely helpful for finding and downloading trail maps when you are out of service. There are multiple layers of maps that you can download and you can track your hikes also allowing for GPS to find you in the event of an emergency. You can choose from a one year subscription for $30 or a 3 year subscription for $60.

  • The Dyrt: this app is used for finding RV, cabin and tent campsites. The pro version allows you to plan road camping trips, map layers, offline access and access to discounted camping rates. The yearly subscription is $36/year and definitely worth it!

Hiking/Backpacking Gear: if the couple you are shopping for is outdoorsy, chances are they have gear but why not upgrade it!? These are some of my recommended must-haves!

  • Eno Double Hammock: this hammock is easy to bring along on any adventure because it packs up so small. It’s cozy for couples, but even singles can enjoy it because they excess hammock can be used as a light blanket.

  • Northface Two Person Tent: this tent is specifically made for backpacking trips; it packs down small and it’s lightweight. If you are looking for a bigger tent, they have lots of varieties!

  • Camping String Lights: perfect for adding a little romance to any camp night with your significant other! When camping as a single, couple, or group, nothing beats good ambiance.

  • Duo Sleeping Bag: the only downside to sleeping bags is you can’t sleep close to your person…now you can! How cool is this duo sleeping bag?

Personalized Gifts: if you’re looking for a personalized gift that will represent your outdoorsy couple, this list is for you! Etsy is my go-to place for all these types of gifts.

  • Adventure Map: you can personalize this by choosing some of their favorite spots they’ve visited together.

  • Adventure Photo Album: the PERFECT photo album for outdoorsy couples to document all their adventures. You can personalize it with their names, too!

  • Personalized Blanket: this blanket can be personalized for the couple you’re buying it for and a great gift they can take with them on their camping adventures.
