Imagine this: you’re in your favorite spot in the outdoors with your new spouse. The scenery is breathtaking, you’ve spent the whole day at your leisure wandering around the wilderness. You’re surrounded by nature and maybe a few loved ones. As you watch the sun slowly sink behind the mountains, you are at ease, you are present, and you have just married your favorite person in the whole world.
Yeah, this is a real thing.
I’m an adventure elopement and wedding photographer based in Seattle and the surrounding Pacific Northwest. I focus on capturing love in beautiful places while sharing a passion for the outdoors. Rock climbing, backpacking, hiking – I love it all.
I got married in 2016 to my husband, Darren and I think marriage is pretty cool. Having been a bride myself, I remember what it was like to worry about the weather, my guests having a good time, me and Darren having a good time – so much to think about! This is why I treat my couples like my best friends who are getting married. I’m there to hold your dress up when you need to pee, tell you when you have stuff in your teeth, and be just as excited for the day as you are.
Once you've decide to toss out the idea of a traditional wedding, you can do whatever you want! Go hiking, charter a helicopter, drive to a lookout - literally whatever you want.
The only thing you need to focus on is spending quality time together and getting married. There's no pressure, no guests to impress or 200 people staring at you all day.
You get to plan a whole day that is 100% dedicated to you two. Everything from the location to what you decide to eat - it's a reflection of who you are as a couple.
Imagine a day where you only do things you want to do, you get to decide who gets to be there, and your sole focus is having a good time.
